ABOUT US
"Back to Texas is the longest-running active country music band in Spain. Their first album, "Baila country en Línea con Back to Texas" (Tempo Music), sold over 35,000 copies, with various appearances in the main TV and radio media outlets of the country.
With 26 years of experience on stage, the extraordinary "live show" of this veteran band stands out, for whom no event is too small or too large, always delivering 100% of their energy and experience on stage.
There have been many nominations and awards given throughout his artistic career to the band's vocalist, Max A. Tyler, among which, due to their importance, are the nomination for "Emergent Artist of the Year" at the Josie Music Awards in Nashville, TN, and the "Texas Heritage Country Music Award" granted in the city of Jefferson, TX.
Max Tyler culminates a great musical career with a tour of the USA, passing through 6 states such as Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama.
Back to Texas has had the great pleasure of playing at highly prestigious festivals, such as the "Country Music Festival in Mirande" (Fr), Country Festival in Prat Bonrepaux" (Fr), "Festival du Pessac" (Fr), Mr Banjo Festival (SP), among many others, and was the band chosen by the American artist WC Edgar to join his tour of Spain, being the band awarded the prize for "Best National Country Band of the Year" by escountry.es.

A LITTLE OF OUR HISTORY
"It was 1999 when a group of young entrepreneurs, united by their passion for country music and the newly opened "Nashville Country Club" in the city of Terrassa (Barcelona), decided, at the request of the respectable audience, to form a completely amateur band to have a good time together. This musical embryo consisted of the club's partners (one of whom would later become a founding member of Back to Texas), the doorman, the DJ, and one of the most regular customers.
It seems they weren't doing too badly, and they soon dared to show the regular customers of the venue their progress with moderate success.
But it couldn't all be so perfect... One rehearsal day, the lead guitarist gave us terrible news: he had to leave the band due to work conflicts. So, he packed his things and left. What were we going to do now? Had we already reached the end?"

"Just as we were debating our bleak future at the unexpectedly abrupt end of that day's rehearsal, we saw an unfamiliar person coming down the entrance of the venue towards the building where we were. This person was carrying a long case that supposedly held a musical instrument. When they came in, they approached us, greeted us, introduced themselves, and asked, 'I heard there's a country band here, do you happen to need a guitarist?' We were speechless... Our surprise was enormous! It had been less than 20 minutes since our lead guitarist had to leave the band, and his replacement miraculously appeared at the door? Is that a sign or what?"

"After two concerts with an audience at the "Nashville Country Club," the drummer informed us that he suffered from uncontrollable stage fright and couldn't continue with us... To make it even more tragic, the bassist also left us to take a very advantageous job offer. The band was falling apart, with only the singer (Max) and the lead guitarist (Ramón) remaining. So, the latter pulled some strings (his brother-in-law who played the double bass) and a drummer he used to play with. Thus, Juanma Rodríguez and Isaac Tomás joined the band. Jaume Avellaneda joined them as an acoustic guitarist, and a short time later, Joan Reyes as a pianist. BACK TO TEXAS was just born."
